BIOGRAPHY

Sebastian was born in West Sussex but attended schools in New York and the European School in Brussels. At 18 he spent a year as an apprentice to the brilliant Norwegian sculptor Brit Holmson before attending an arts foundation course at West Sussex College of Art and Design.

After graduating with a BA hons in Fine Art and Philosophy from Reading University, Sebastian spent a few years working as an artist in County Durham before training as a teacher at La Sainte Union college in Southampton.

Most of his subsequent career has been spent teaching, renovating houses, painting and working for the Purbeck Art Weeks Festival. A dedicated sailor and runner, Sebastian is rarely happier than when he is out exploring the Dorset coast absorbing inspiration for his paintings.
